Community Guidelines

Effective Date: 20 September 2026

These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") apply to all mentors, mentees, parents/guardians and other users of Call DAKM Mentors ("Platform").

The Guidelines are intended to maintain a safe, respectful, professional and lawful environment and to reduce misuse, misconduct, fraud and disputes.

These Guidelines should be read together with the Platform's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Mentor Terms & Policy, Mentorship Service Policy, Payment and Payout Policy, Refund/Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy, Grievance Redressal Policy, Child/Minor Safety Policy and Disclaimer.

1. Respectful and Lawful Conduct

Users must use the Platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes and must treat other users, mentors, employees and representatives respectfully.

Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, abusive behaviour, discrimination, hate speech, fraud, cheating, impersonation, extortion, blackmail, exploitation, cybercrime and other unlawful conduct are prohibited.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their conduct and communications comply with applicable Indian law.

2. Child and Minor Safety

Users below eighteen (18) years of age require appropriate protection.

No person may groom, exploit, sexually approach, manipulate, threaten, pressure or otherwise improperly take advantage of a minor.

Mentors must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with minors and must not seek unnecessary personal, financial, intimate or sensitive information.

The Platform may apply additional verification, supervision or other safeguards to interactions involving minors.

Parents or legal guardians remain responsible for appropriate supervision and consent concerning a minor's use of the Platform, to the extent applicable under law.

3. Prohibited Sexual, Violent and Harmful Conduct

The Platform must not be used for sexual exploitation, prohibited sexually explicit conduct, violence, threats of violence or content encouraging or facilitating suicide, self-harm or serious harm.

Serious safety concerns may result in immediate restriction or suspension and, where legally required or appropriate, escalation to competent persons or authorities.

The Platform is not an emergency-response or crisis-management service.

4. Privacy, Confidentiality and Personal Information

Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users.

Users must not unlawfully collect, disclose, publish, misuse or distribute another person's personal or confidential information, including unnecessary contact details, passwords, financial information, identity documents, private photographs or sensitive information.

Users must comply with applicable requirements relating to consent and confidentiality when recording, reproducing or sharing mentorship interactions.

The Platform's handling of personal data is governed by its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

5. Identity, Qualifications and Honest Representation

Users must provide truthful information where required and must not impersonate another person.

Mentors must accurately represent their qualifications, experience, professional registrations, expertise and services.

Users must not make materially false or misleading representations to the Platform or other users.

Any verification conducted by the Platform is a risk-control measure and does not constitute a guarantee of a person's identity, qualifications, competence or conduct.

6. Mentorship Boundaries and User Responsibility

Mentorship is intended for guidance, knowledge sharing, experience sharing and personal or professional development.

It does not automatically constitute medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, investment, therapeutic or other regulated professional services.

Mentors must not guarantee employment, admission, financial returns, business success, healing, recovery or other specific outcomes.

The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, quality or outcome of advice provided by a mentor.

Users remain responsible for evaluating information received and for their own decisions and actions.

7. Independent Mentor Relationship

A mentor is responsible for the advice, opinions, representations and services personally provided by the mentor.

Use of the Platform does not by itself create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or fiduciary relationship between the Platform and a mentor.

Unless expressly authorised, a mentor has no authority to represent, bind or make commitments on behalf of the Platform.

Mentors remain responsible for their own applicable professional, tax, licensing, registration and statutory obligations.

8. Off-Platform Solicitation and User Dealings

Users must not use the Platform to circumvent Platform fees, payment systems, booking processes or safety mechanisms.

Mentors must not improperly divert or solicit mentees to continue paid mentorship outside the Platform through personal websites, telephone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, email, social media or other third-party channels where prohibited by the Mentor Terms & Policy.

The Platform is not responsible for unauthorised transactions, arrangements or services independently entered into between users outside the Platform, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

Users are responsible for content and communications they create, upload, send or publish.

Users must not submit or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, hateful, privacy-invasive, sexually exploitative, harmful-to-children or materially misleading content, or content that infringes another person's legal or intellectual-property rights.

Users must have the necessary rights and permissions to use content submitted by them.

Users must not misuse the Platform's name, logo, software, content, design or other intellectual property without permission.

10. Sessions, Recordings and Technical Issues

Users are responsible for joining scheduled sessions on time and maintaining reasonably suitable devices, internet connectivity and communication conditions.

Internet failures, device problems, power failures, telecommunications issues, third-party service outages, maintenance or circumstances beyond the Platform's reasonable control may affect a session.

Where applicable, booking information, attendance, session duration, connection records and other relevant technical records may be considered when resolving disputes.

Refunds, cancellations and rescheduling will be handled under the applicable Platform policies.

Users must not unlawfully record, reproduce, publish or commercially exploit private mentorship sessions or confidential information.

11. Reviews, Complaints and Transaction Abuse

Reviews, ratings and complaints must be genuine and made in good faith.

Users must not create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, submit knowingly false complaints, threaten another person regarding a complaint or use complaints, refunds or chargebacks to obtain an improper benefit.

Fraudulent payment claims, dishonest chargebacks, transaction manipulation and misuse of promotional benefits are prohibited.

The Platform may investigate complaints and request supporting information.

12. Commercial Activities and Conflicts of Interest

The Platform must not be used for spam, phishing, scams, unauthorised advertising, fraudulent investment opportunities or unrelated commercial solicitation.

Mentors must not improperly pressure mentees to purchase unrelated products, services, investments, courses or opportunities.

Mentors should disclose material conflicts of interest where relevant to the mentorship being provided.

13. Platform Security and System Integrity

Users must not hack, disrupt, manipulate or obtain unauthorised access to the Platform or another user's account.

Users must not bypass security controls, introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, manipulate bookings, payments, ratings, referrals or session records, or otherwise interfere with Platform systems.

Users must not abuse multiple accounts, promotional schemes or other Platform features for unauthorised benefit.

14. Reporting and Investigation

Users may report suspected violations, safety concerns, misconduct or grievances through the Platform's designated mechanism.

Reports should contain sufficient information and supporting material where reasonably available.

The Platform may investigate using relevant information available to it, including account, booking, payment, communication and technical records, subject to applicable law.

Users must not deliberately destroy, manipulate or falsify evidence relating to a Platform dispute or investigation.

15. Enforcement and Account Restrictions

Depending on the nature and seriousness of a violation, the Platform may issue warnings, remove or restrict content, restrict features, require verification, cancel sessions, suspend or terminate accounts, restrict future access or take other reasonable corrective action.

For serious or urgent matters, the Platform may take immediate action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Platform or its legal interests.

Account suspension or termination does not extinguish obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

16. Platform Availability and Events Beyond Control

The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available services.

Services may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet or telecommunications failures, power failures, cyber incidents, third-party service failures, government action, regulatory restrictions, natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the Platform's reasonable control.

The Platform may temporarily modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or operational reasons.

17. Cooperation With Authorities

The Platform may cooperate with courts, law-enforcement agencies, regulators, governmental authorities or other competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.

Where legally required or permitted, the Platform may preserve or disclose relevant information pursuant to valid legal processes, governmental directions or other lawful requirements.

18. No Guarantee of User Conduct or Outcomes

The Platform may implement reasonable verification, moderation, reporting and safety measures but cannot guarantee that every user will comply with these Guidelines or that all information supplied by users is accurate.

The Platform does not guarantee:

  • the conduct of any mentor or mentee;
  • compatibility between users;
  • availability of a particular mentor;
  • uninterrupted service;
  • accuracy of every user statement; or
  • any particular mentorship, personal, educational, professional or financial outcome.

19. Policy Framework and Updates

These Guidelines form part of the Platform's overall policy framework and must be read with the other applicable Platform policies and agreements.

The Platform may update these Guidelines to reflect changes in applicable law, regulations, technology, Platform features, safety requirements or operational practices.

If any provision conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail.

20. Reservation of Rights and Dispute Resolution

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Guidelines, investigate suspected violations, introduce safeguards, require verification, restrict or terminate accounts and take reasonable measures to protect users, mentors and the Platform.

These Guidelines shall be governed by applicable laws of India. Disputes shall be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution and jurisdiction provisions contained in the Platform's Terms of Service, subject to mandatory rights and remedies available under applicable law.

By accessing or using the Platform, users acknowledge that they are required to comply with these Community Guidelines and other applicable Platform policies.
